A Little About Me

My journey with yoga began in 2000 while I was living in the United States. What started as a personal practice gradually became a lifelong exploration of movement, breath, presence and mindful living.

I became an internationally certified yoga teacher in 2005 and later completed a Yoga Alliance-accredited training. Since then, I have continued to teach, study and explore different approaches to yoga and holistic wellbeing.

Over the years, my work has expanded beyond yoga to include TuiNa massage & Acupressure bodywork and other approaches to supporting relaxation, awareness and connection.

Yoga

Over the years, yoga has become much more than a physical practice for me. It has become a way of living and a way of meeting life — something that continues to deepen with experience, curiosity and time. This is something I wish to bring into my teaching, creating space not only for physical movement, but also for exploring a deeper connection with ourselves.

I teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin yoga, Pranayama & Meditation. My classes range from dynamic and energising practices to slower, more restorative sessions, and I adapt the pace and intensity to suit different levels and groups.

I enjoy creating classes that are welcoming, accessible and creative, whether for beginners, experienced practitioners or mixed-level groups.

I can offer:

  • Group yoga classes
  • Private yoga sessions
  • Yin & restorative practices
  • Pranayama, breathwork & Meditation
  • Gentle morning or evening sessions
  • Yoga adapted to different levels

Bodywork

Alongside yoga, I offer TuiNa massage and acupressure treatments. My training is based on the Chinese Tradition with and understanding of the connection between body and mind while focusing on balance and the individual’s experience.

I would love the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to a wellness team and contribute to creating a memorable experience for guests.

Sincerely,
Mariell
